Video: Execution of Iran protester "imminent" as US citizens warned to leave immediately | BBC News
The family of A 26-year-old protester in Iran have been told he will be executed tomorrow, after he was arrested and sentenced to death for joining anti-regime demonstrations. Erfan Soltani, a resident of Fardis, west of Tehran, was arrested at home and handed a death sentence three days later, as the regime steps up its brutal crackdown on dissent. More than 2,000 people are now reported to been killed during the violent crackdown by security forces on protesters.
