Video: Federal funding cuts impact scientific research in the ocean
A team of researchers from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego, are working to explore the bottom of the ocean in an effort to discover scientific breakthroughs for diseases such as cancer. NBC News' David Noriega visits the team to talk about their research and how federal funding cuts are impacting their work.
